Transfer your domain name from Network Solutions to Skystra

⚠️ Before starting a domain transfer, make sure:
1. The domain is active and not expired
2. The domain is older than 60 days
3. The domain had no registrar transfers in the last 60 days

• To transfer regular domain extensions, use the steps under Instructions (all domains)

• To transfer *uk based domain extensions, use the steps under Instructions (*uk domains only)

Instructions (all domains)

1. Log in to your Network Solutions user portal
2. Click on My Domain Names under the My Products and Services tab
3. Click Manage next to the domain name you are making the changes for
4. From the Details section, select Turn Private Registration Off, and then click Go
5. From the Domain Details section, click Edit. Select Turn Domain Protect Off, and then click Save.
6. From the Domain Details section, select Request Authorization Code, and then click Save
7. Take note of the email address the authorization code was sent to and the timeframe (normally 2-3 days)
8. Check your email for the authorization code within the specified timeframe (2-3 days)
9. Log in to your Skystra user portal
10. Click on Domains from the menu
11. Click the Add New button

12. Click on the Transfer Domain tab

13. Type your domain name into the search field and select its extension from the dropdown

14. Click the Search button

15. Click the Add to Cart button

16. Paste your auth code into the EPP Code / Auth Code field

17. Click on the Add to Cart button for ID Protection (highly recommended to keep you safe from spam and fraud)

18. Click the Checkout button

19. Network Solutions will take approximately 7 days to release your domain name. Once released, you will receive a confirmation email from our team and you will see your domain name listed on your Skystra user portal.

Instructions (*uk domains only)

1. Log in to your Network Solutions user portal
2. Click on My Domain Names under the My Products and Services tab
3. Click Manage next to the domain name you are making the changes for
4. From the Domain Details section, click Edit. Select Turn Domain Protect Off, and then click Save.
5. Find the IPS tag section and change your domain name tag to:

6. Log in to your Skystra user portal
7. Click on Domains from the menu
8. Click the Add New button

9. Click on the Transfer Domain tab

10. Type your domain name into the search field and select its extension from the dropdown

11. Click the Search button

12. Click the Add to Cart button

13. Click the Checkout button

14. Network Solutions will release your domain name within a few hours. Once released, you will receive a confirmation email from our team and you will see your domain name listed on your Skystra user portal.
