Transfer your domain name from SiteGround to Skystra

⚠️ Before starting a domain transfer, make sure:
1. The domain is active and not expired
2. The domain is older than 60 days
3. The domain had no registrar transfers in the last 60 days

• To transfer regular domain extensions, use the steps under Instructions (all domains)

• To transfer *uk based domain extensions, use the steps under Instructions (*uk domains only)

Instructions (all domains)

1. Log in to your SiteGround user portal
2. Click on Services from the menu
3. Click on the Domains tab
4. Find your domain name and click Settings
5. Find the Registrar Lock section and turn it off
6. Find the Domain Privacy section and turn it off
7. Find the Get EPP Code to request the EPP code and take note of the email address the EPP code was sent to
8. Check your email for the EPP code, make sure to check spam and junk folders in case
9. Log in to your Skystra user portal
10. Click on Domains from the menu
11. Click the Add New button

12. Click on the Transfer Domain tab

13. Type your domain name into the search field and select its extension from the dropdown

14. Click the Search button

15. Click the Add to Cart button

16. Paste your auth code into the EPP Code field

17. Click on the Add to Cart button for ID Protection (highly recommended to keep you safe from spam and fraud)

18. Click the Checkout button

19. SiteGround will take approximately 7 days to release your domain name. Once released, you will receive a confirmation email from our team and you will see your domain name listed on your Skystra user portal.

Instructions (*uk domains only)

1. Log in to your SiteGround user portal
2. Click on Services from the menu
3. Click on the Domains tab
4. Find your domain name and click Settings
5. Find the Registrar Lock section and turn it off
6. Find the Change IPS tag section and change your domain tag to:

NETEARTHONE

7. Log in to your Skystra user portal
8. Click on Domains from the menu
9. Click the Add New button

10. Click on the Transfer Domain tab

11. Type your domain name into the search field and select its extension from the dropdown

12. Click the Search button

13. Click the Add to Cart button

14. Click the Checkout button

15. SiteGround will release your domain name within a few hours. Once released, you will receive a confirmation email from our team and you will see your domain name listed on your Skystra user portal.
