Activate ID protection (domain privacy) on your domain name

ID protection, also known as domain privacy, hides your personal details from public domain records (e.g., WHOIS records), preventing your contact information from being displayed. This protects you from unsolicited contacts, spam, and fraud.

You can activate ID protection on any domain name you have registered on your Skystra account.

⚠️ Note: Most domain extensions support ID protection, but some are restricted by authorities or have ID protection enabled by default. If your domain extension offers ID protection, you can activate it through your Skystra portal.

1. Log in to your Skystra user portal
2. Click on Domains from the main menu

3. Find your domain name and click the 3 dots … to the right of it
4. Click on Manage Domain from the dropdown

5. Under Manage, click on Addons

6. On the ID Protection square, click the Order button

7. Click the Buy Now button and checkout

8. Once your purchase is completed, ID protection will activate on your domain name automatically
