Change your domain name A records at Cloudflare

When your domain uses Cloudflare nameservers, you manage its DNS records, including A records that connect your domain to its IP address, at Cloudflare.

To change an A record at Cloudflare, follow the guidelines provided below. For any issues or questions regarding Cloudflare and its DNS management, please contact Cloudflare directly.

1. Login to your Cloudflare user portal and click on the domain name you want to change A records for

2. Click the DNS tab from the menu

3. In the Type column, you’ll find several A records labeled “A.” Click the Edit button next to any record to modify it. The main A record, identified by your domain name as the Name, directs your website to a specified server.

4. To change where an A record is pointed, delete the old IP address and replace it with the new IP address in the IPv4 Address field under the Content column. Then, click the Save button.

⚠️ DNS changes may take up to 24 hours to load and update across the internet.
