Change your hosting control panel password

Your hosting control panel password lets you log in to your hosting control panel from your internet browser and facilitates file management and transfers via SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol).

You can change your hosting control panel password from your customer portal.

1. Log in to your Skystra user portal

2. If you have multiple hosting services, select the correct hosting service from the dropdown. If you only have one hosting service, it will be selected by default.

3. Click on Change Password under Actions

4. Insert a new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields, or click the Generate Password button for the system to create and insert one for you. It’s best to set a Strong password using letters, numbers, and special characters.

⚠️ Do NOT use these special characters in your password; otherwise, your password reset will not work:

  • / (forward slash)
  • \ (backslash)
  • (blank space)

5. Click the Save Changes button
