How To Setup Email On Your Mac (Outlook)

This article will explain how to set up your email address on Outlook on your Mac.

Get Started

Open Outlook and click the Get started button:

Start Using Outlook

Next, click the Start Using Outlook button:

Add Others

Outlook will then ask you if you want to import a Microsoft 365 subscription account or add a new account.

Click the Add Others button:

Input Email

Fill in your email address and click the Continue button:

IMAP Settings

On the next screen, most of the fields will be pre-filled, so just input your password and leave everything else as-is:

Add Account

Click the Add Account button once ready.

Outlook will then verify the login details and add your email address. Once completed, click the Done button:

That’s it! Your email address is now properly set up on Outlook on your Mac computer.
