This article will explain how to set up your email address on Gmail on your Android phone.

Settings
Open Gmail, go to the hamburger menu at the top left corner of your screen and click on Settings from the dropdown.


Add account
Next, tap the Add Account button:

Other
From the list of available email providers, select the Other option:

Input email
Next, fill in your email address and tap the Next button:

IMAP settings
Tap the Personal (IMAP) option:

Fill in your email address password and tap the Next button:

Incoming server settings
Use the following details for the Incoming server settings:
- Username: your email address
- Password: your email address password
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name)

Click the Next button at the bottom-right corner when ready.
Outgoing server settings
Use the following details for the Outgoing server settings:
- Username: your email address
- Password: your email address password
- Server: mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name)

Configure account
Next, configure your account settings:

Put in the email account’s owner name for the Your name field (this is the name recipients will see for outgoing emails):

That’s it! You can now use your email through Gmail on your phone.
