If ever needed, you can block an IP address or an IP address range. This comes in handy if you notice massive traffic coming from a single IP address or believe you have a spammer or hacker targeting your website.
To block an IP address, log in to your cPanel control panel. Click here for instructions on how to get to cPanel.
Once in cPanel, click the IP Blocker under the Security section:
Put in the IP address you want to block and click the Add button to save changes:
If you’ve used the correct format, you will see a success message:
The IP Blocker shows all blocked IP addresses on the main page under Currently-Blocked IP Addresses section, and if you want to remove the IP address from the list, click the Delete button next to the IP address you want to remove:
