If you need to view or make changes to your .htaccess file, please use the following steps:
Log in to your cPanel control panel. Click here for instructions on how to get to cPanel.
Next, click the File Manager option under the Files section:
File Manager will open in a new pop-up window. Click the public_html directory in the left frame to access it:
Click the Settings button in the top-right section of the page and enable the Show Hidden Files option:
Finally, select the .htaccess file in your public_html directory and click the Edit button in the top toolbar:
Use the editor to add content or make changes to your .htaccess file and click the Save Changes button in the top-right corner of the page to save your modifications.
