A subdomain is like a smaller branch off your main website, having its own unique address. For instance, if “skystrahelp.com” is your main site, “shop.skystrahelp.com” could be a subdomain dedicated to online shopping.
You can create a subdomain for your main domain name from your hosting control panel.
1. Log in to your hosting control panel
2. Click on the Subdomains button

3. At the top, make sure the domain name listed next to the Domain: field is the one you’d like to create a subdomain for and then click on the + Add Subdomain button

4. Type in your subdomain into the subdomain field and leave the document root as Default. Click the Add Subdomain button.

You will see your subdomain listed.
If you are using our nameservers, you can create a new website on your subdomain right away.
If you are using an external DNS or CDN provider, make sure to create and/or update the DNS entry for the new subdomain.
